About RSS

RSS stands for really simple syndication. It gives regular visitors to a site the ability to be updated when there is new content added to the site.

RSS feeds can be utilised by special software (RSS Readers) or by most new Internet browsers, including Internet Explorer 7 & 8(or higher) and Firefox 2 & 3. Internet Explorer 6 does not have a RSS reader. Internet Explorer 6 users should install one of the RSS readers outlined below.

If you are using Firefox and you see the rss icon on the right side of the address bar, you can click this to be shown a prompt to add a Live bookmark to that RSS feed.

If you see the RSS Icon on a news or events page, that signifies that an RSS feed is available. You can right click on the icon or link and copy it into your preferred feed reading software.

Different news readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to choose one that will work with your computer. Here is list of some well known feed reader software.
